Nova Health is a unique practice with a major focus on care-delivery to the older adult. We recognize that caring for these individuals requires a completely different approach than for someone in their mid-30's or 40's. Older adults have multiple problems that frequently conflict with each other. Most are on multiple medications that frequently have adverse interactions. Almost all of them see multiple specialists who are frequently unaware of the interventions initiated by the patient's other doctors. But most of all older adults require time. Time to speak slowly and distinctly. Time to wait for them to say their story. Time to smile and laugh. And time to hold a trembling hand.

We recognize this key requirement and care enough to consciously extend ourselves to provide it. We currently devote defined portions of the week at selected Assisted Living Centers in this region.
